The Revenue department of the Assam state government has suspended three ACS officers currently lodged in jail for their involvement in the APSC ‘Cash-for-Job’ scam.

Bhaskar Jyoti Dev Sarma, Amrit Sarma and Bhaskar Dutta, all appointed as circle officers, were arrested on May 3 for allegedly getting selected in the civil service by paying hefty amount of money to the then APSC chairman Rakesh Pal.

The trio\'s duplicate answer scripts were seized from the residence of Rakesh Pal during a police raid.  The trio was selected in 2013.
