Tripura is one of the smallest states of India yet it is one of the fastest developing states too. Under the able leadership of Manik Sarkar, Tripura has become a sought-after tourist and commercial destination of the region. The state may be small yet it has some dynamic communities living in close proximity. From the Tripuri Bengalis to the indigenous Kokboroks, Tripura is a cultural abode. If we talk about the people, there have been several luminaries who have made the state proud in more than one way. Let us take a look at some of famous people of Tripura.

Every state is proud of producing that one brilliant man who has gone out and made the state proud.
