Living Root Bridge is a fantastic example of organic engineering and bonding shared by humans and nature. These bridge are a tangle of thick roots from a banyan tree. It is stabilised by mud, sticks and stones. This sturdy bridge can take the weight 500 people crossing at once. It sees an average of over 100 tourists per day. A truly marvellous feat of organic engineering. To know more watch this video only on HISTORY TV18.
