Arunachal Pradesh: 18-year-old girl wins Miss Capital 2018

Junnu Pinggam, an 18-year-old girl from Mechuka, West Siang district on Saturday, was declared as the 4th Miss capital-2018 at Nyikum Niya Hall, Arunachal Pradesh.

Pinggam won a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh along with a brand new Honda scooter besides a direct entry into the upcoming Miss Arunachal event.

Junnu is a 4th semester student of Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar persuing and is also an ace cosplayer.

Yangchen Pema of Kalaktang, West Kameng district, emerged as first runner-up and Tawang’s Jambey Chotten was the second runner-up, winning cash prizes of Rs 70 and 50 thousand respectively.

The sub-title winners of the event were Desi Hangu Pongu (Miss Popular), Ngurang Anio (Miss Personality), Miss Taba Reemi (Miss Talented), Nabam Asu (Miss Catwalk), and Taba Nayum Niki (Miss Best Costume). All the winners received Rs 20 thousand each.

The 4th edition of Miss Capital 2018 beauty pageant began in June this year and was organized by the Arunachal Artistes Forum Capital Complex Unit, under the aegis of Miss Arunachal.
