Northeast start-up fest on Nov 24-25

The State Government, along with NGO North East Development Foundation, Digital Empowerment Foundation, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship and the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, will hold the Northeast Start-up Festival on November 24-25 in the city.

The objective of the event is to provide a platform to amalgamate ideas with creativity and groom up the start-up enterprises and lead projects having potential from the region, said a statement issued by the North East Development Foundation.

It has also sought nominations and applications from young start-ups and enterprises from the Northeast region. Submitted nominations will be screened, reviewed and selected by an expert jury panel and the finalists from 12 categories will be invited to present their projects and social business and pitch for fund, technical support and mentoring during the two-day event.
