Assam youth's dead body recovered in Tamil Nadu’s Katpadi railway track

Residents are shocked after a youth in Assam's dead body was discovered in Tamil Nadu’s Katpadi railway track this morning.

According to reports, the cause of the mysterious death is yet to be ascertained but Katpadi police, who recovered the dead body, have identified the deceased as Bijumoni Bora.

A report by NorthEast Asia states that Bora was a resident of Jamunamukh Village.

The report continues that police officials revealed that the deceased was on his way to Bangalore in the company of his friend, Surya Das in New Tinsukia – KSR Bengaluru Express train.

The Katpadi Police have stated that further investigations are underway into the matter to determine the cause of death.

Crime is on a rise the state as several dead bodies are being discovered week on week in Assam.

Earlier this week, reported that the body of a dead baby was discovered by residents around Zoo Road.

Also the dead body of a baby was recovered from the Maternity Department at Guwahati Medical College.

In another incident a dead body of another child named Aariful Islam was recovered in Kathbhanga in South Salmara.
