The victim had been rescued by Maharashtra police in an operation taken out by them in Rajwara area.

Reportedly, the girl had been sold away by her parents to one of their relatives for money nearly one year ago.

The woman accused has been apprehended by police and identified as Puja Swami alias Renu Begum who had engaged the girl in this business. She had been running the sex racket for a long time and had been living a luxurious life.

It may be stated that the Maharashtra police brought back the girl to her hometown Rangia but her parents are absconding from police.
