Koldil Aru Soybean Bhaji
This is one delicious and healthy dish made with tender banana flower and soybean nuggets. You will need 1.5 cup chopped banana flower, chopped onions, potatoes cut in small cubes, crushed chilies and garlic, coriander powder, Oil, turmeric, cumin seeds and pepper powder.
Ensure you pick the banana flowers from the smooth layered skin instead of the outer thick layers. Wash the chopped koldil in water well. Discarding the head section near stem is okay. Soak the soybean nuggets in hot water and then squeeze them well.

At first, fry the cumin seeds in oil. Add the sliced onions and stir fry them well. Pour in the garlic and chillies too. Next, pour in the turmeric, coriander powder and soybeans. Add the cubed potatoes next. Stir fry everything for a while after adding salt. Now, add those chopped banana flowers and cook. Finally, sprinkle the pepper powder and cook for a few more minutes. Serve the dish with rice and daal.
Koldil Aru Murgi Mangxo
Koldil coked with chicken taste awesome and the dish is also easy to prepare. You will need a cup of chopped banana flower, 400gms Chicken, Bay leaves, Green whole Chillies, paste of garlic, ginger and onions, salt, Turmeric, Mustard oil and garam masala.
You need to chop the tender inner stem of koldil after taking off several layers. Also chop the tender flowers in the layers. Wash these with cold water a couple of times carefully.
Heat the oil in a pan. Then fry all ingredients barring the meat, garam masala and Koldil. After some time add the chicken and masala. Stir cook for some time. Then add the Koldil and mix everything well. There is no need to add water. When it is cooked, serve with rice.
Koldil paror manxo
This dish, made with pigeon meat and banana flowers, tastes mind blowing. You will need ingredients like 500 grams pigeon meat, a cup of chopped koldil, chopped onions, potato cut in cubes, garlic ginger paste, cumin powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala, bay leaf, Salt and green chili. You can use mustard oil for cooking the dish.

At first, fry the chopped onion in oil till it becomes brownish in color. Then add the bay leaf and ginger-garlic paste with chili. Stir fry these for a while. Then add other spices except garam masala powder and fry. Next add the potato cubes, chopped banana flower along with meat. After 12 minutes or so, add some water. Before putting of flame sprinkle some garam masala powder. Mix it well and put off flame soon. Serve the dish with steaming rice.
