Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi can rightly be termed as a strong member of the opposition due to his vocal nature in pulling up the present BJP led government in the state as and when required. His active presence in social media clearly throws light over the fact that he has not lost interest in the affairs of the state scenario even after being a member of the opposition. In one of his tweets today evening, Gogoi was seen requesting Assam Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal to look into their genuine demands of All Assam Homeopathic Medical College students union regarding various issues including lack of teaching faculty, infrastructure & unemployed pass out students

In what seemed to be memorandum submitted by the All Assam Homeopathic Medical College Students Union, it was highlighted that there was shortage of teaching faculty in all the Homeopathy medical colleges thereby affecting the academic performance of the students. Attention was also drawn towards the need to improve the college infrastructure and to release necessary funds for promotion of Homeopathy colleges.
Issue of unemployment was also taken up citing that there were large numbers of unemployed BMHS doctors in the state of Assam due to the apathy of Health Department.
