Meghalaya: Speeding vehicle kills roadside vendor near Rhino Museum

A roadside vendor, Pinky Begum (24 years) from Nongsohphoh, Mawprem was killed after a vehicle (ML-05 D 6195) went off the road and hit her small shop near Rhino Museum, Rilbong on Tuesday at around 11 am.

According to police, the two sons of the deceased along with a customer were injured in the incident.

The police informed that the deceased died in the Military Hospital.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the driver of the vehicle, Santosh Biswas.
