Miss Nagaland 2017 beauty pageant is all set to find the ultimate queen of the state on December 8.

The event which coincided with the 18th edition of the Hornbill Festival will be held at the Regional Centre for Excellence in Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma.

12 contestants were selected for the beauty pageant after a series of screening.

The judges for the contest is said to be high profile personalities who will be coming from different parts of the country.

The glittering will be graced by C. Apok Jamir, Parliamentary Secretary, Department of Tourism, as the chief host; K.S. Nagnyal Zonal Manager, India Eastern Zone LIC as chief guest; Vilokali Zhimomi, Miss Nagaland 2016 as guest of hnour and Kaheli Chophy, FBB Femina Miss India Nagaland 2017 as a special guest.

It may be mentioned that the grooming session for the contestants is underway with Johnny D’Ascoli, celebrity makeup artists, fashion choreographer and colour technician; Dr. V. Khamo; Ela Susan and beauty experts from Avon and B Blunt as resource persons.

The Event is sponsored by LIC, powered by Department of Tourism and co-sponsored by B Blunt, Avon and partners include Symphony Academy of Music, Trig Empowering Institute, NHD Cars, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC).

The event will also feature well known artists like Mar (Polar Lights), Vitz, Pezet Newme, Vikhriezonuo Yore, Atsula , Zubeni Kikon and Chubatola Imsong .

The annual Miss Nagaland will be hosted by BASN as a part of the Hornbill Festival.
