Reaching the Diezephe Crafts Village is not tedious. It is in Dhansiripar block, just 13 km from Dimapur. From Dimapur, buses ply to the village regularly and you may also hire a cab from the town. Dimapur is connected to Guwahati and some other airports in Eastern India by flights.

Diezephe Crafts Village has been set up to preserve the traditional tribal art and handicrafts of Nagaland. Close to Dimapur, this village is visited by thousands of tourists who explore the amazing range of Naga crafts and buy souvenirs as well. Nagaland Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation limited has played a key role in setting up the village and promoting it for tourism. Nagaland government has also been active in promoting the village of late.

Tourists get the chance to explore a huge range of handicrafts at the Diezephe Crafts Village. You can explore the home décor crafts made by Naga artisans in the village. Bamboo and cane based accessories and furnishings are popular among tourists. Apart from that, you can also explore and buy from the wide range of clay based items. The mud based animal figurines are ideal for show pieces and you may also buy them as gifts. Naga jewelries are also available for exhibit and sale but you may have to do some bargaining. The ornaments are made of diverse items like bead, metal, wood, clay, shell, glass and stone.
