Meghalaya: Govt. allocates Rs 969 crore for education sector

The government has allocated Rs 969.64 crore for the education sector, Rs 613.31 crore for health and family welfare sector, and Rs 1,457.94 crore for the community and rural development sector for the next fiscal.

CM of Meghalaya, Conrad Sangma also said the state has been widely praised for being one of the best in terms of implementation of MGNREGA.
