Tripura: Magistrate accused of ‘attempt to molest’ woman deputy collector

Allegation has been leveled against sub divisional magistrate of Kailasahar for his attempt to outrage the modesty of a woman deputy collector and magistrate posted in his office.

The  victim, in a written complaint to Unakoti District Magistrate – P Bhattacharya, accused the SDM Subrata Choudhury of entering her quarters three days back without prior appointment and misbehaved with her.

She also claimed that Subrata attempted to molest her, but she somehow escaped from his grip. Attempts to contact both the victim and the accused failed. It was informed that till now, no case has been lodged yet.

The victim, is currently serving a probationary period and has been staying at government quarters with her nephew since a year ago.
