A total of 47, 596 students would sit for the examinations that would continue till April 10.
Higher Secondary examinations would start from March 8 instead of the earlier scheduled date March 5 due to Assembly polls.
The Higher Secondary exams would continue till April 13.
“Students would appear English paper on the first day of the exam for both Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations,” said TBSE president Mihir Kanti Deb.
Two papers – Mathematics and Philosophy , supposed to be conducted on March 12 , has been rescheduled to April 13.
A total 25,512 students would appear in the exams.
