Sighting of a Tiger in Panna quite a while ago before all the Tigers in reserve had vanished, including the one seen in this video. How exciting it is to see a tiger in wild very close to you! As the name suggests, Panna was known for its Emerald mines. At the same time it was also the jewel of Tiger population in India. Panna was given the Award of Excellence in 2007 as the best maintained national park of India by the Ministry of Tourism of India. It is notable that by 2009, as happened with Sariska in Rajasthan, the entire tiger population of Panna was also eliminated by poaching with the collusion of forest department officials.
